About Me
Hi! My name is Victor Rakotondranoro and I am a senior majoring in Software Engineering at Loyola University Chicago. I am passionate about space, software development and robotics. My hobbies are Raspberry Pi and Arduino fun projects, as well as anime, basketball and soccer. As for my career goals, I want to be a full-stack developer, still exploring between web, mobile, and embedded systems. I am looking for a full-time position in software development to leverage my Software Engineering major into full-stack dev opportunities.September 2021 - Senior year. Started internship at Zoro Tools, US. Ongoing.
April 2021 - First Hackathon. Developed a cross-platform mobile app in JavaScript and React Native in 48 hours.
February 2021 - Started interning at Calypso-B as a Software Engineer. In charge of company's website, mobile app, and embedded device.
June 2020 - Completed first semester in Software Engineering. Started exploring different programming languages and frameworks, and first steps into embedded systems with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
January 2020 - Changed major to Software Engineering at Loyola University Chicago.
December 2019 - First coding experience in C, discovered out of curiosity.
August 2018 - Started attending Loyola University Chicago as a Business Administration major.
June 2018 - Graduated High School: French Scientifique Baccalaureate with highest honors.

Main Projects
Microlending App
A microlending app to lend and request loans to users at a low interest rate. It has an interface for regular
users and separate bank manager interface from where they can manage requests and specify interest rates.

Raspberry Pi Radar
A radar controlled by a Raspberry Pi that detects objects within a range. Upon detection,
the Pi sends a notification to my smartphone and takes a picture of the object that will be uploaded
to a web server hosted by the Pi.

Airplane Seating Registry
A program that assigns seats to passengers in an airplane. The number of seats
and passengers can be customized.
